It’s one of the most important parts of any amazing wedding day and I’m sure it’s been on your mind a lot as a wedding planning couple.

A quick search of google for wedding bands and you’ll be bombarded with options. There’s a lot to consider when booking wedding entertainment; what genre of music do they play, do they provide their own sound system, do you need to book a DJ separately, are they reliable, will they play your first dance song etc… The list goes on.

Let me introduce you to the Jonny Ross Music agency. They’re here to bring you an amazing array of music entertainment to choose from, while making your life a whole lot less stressful! Speak to any well respected wedding venue manager across Yorkshire and beyond and they’ll all recognise the music agency’s name. This isn’t the type of agency that has any old band added to them. Each band has been hand-picked by Jonny himself and all are of immense quality. Whilst photographing at weddings I’ve come across the agencies acts soo many times and they never disappoint!

I recently went along to one of their showcase events at the stunning Hornington Manor wedding venue based on the outskirts of York and I was blown away with the talent the agencies acts have! A showcase event is where each band from the agency plays a 20 minute set, giving engaged couples the chance to find which band suits their wedding vibe and to give them a proper feel of what each bands sound like.

Whether you’re looking for an acoustic duo for your ceremony and drinks reception, a sax and DJ act to get the party vibes going, or a full piece band to keep the dance floor filled, this showcase showed that Jonny’s agency has everything covered!

Hornington Manor is an exclusive use wedding venue found in the heart of the North Yorkshire countryside. The restored rustic barn is absolutely stunning both inside and out, full of history and stunning backdrops that make it such an incredible venue to photograph a wedding at.

As a wedding photographer that is based near Leeds I’m in a great central spot to travel to venue all over the country to photograph incredible wedding days. I can say without hesitation that Jo and team at Hornington Manor are among the best in the country at ensuring every wedding couple is given the day they’ve always dreamed of!
