Day 22 of lock-down. It’s been a tough few weeks for anyone that’s been planning a wedding, with a huge amount having to postpone of even fully cancel. Luckily the couples I’m working with have secured alternate dates for their big day to go ahead later this year and beginning of next.
That’s a long time for me to go without photographing a wedding though, so I had to come up with a solution!
Introducing my Lego wedding day! It was a last minute wedding, but all of my favourite suppliers came together to make it the day that Rachel and Rowan always wanted!
THE BIG DAY
The day started off at 06:30 with bridal hair stylist Caroline working her magic!

Evie was in the MUA department making sure Rachel felt amazing for the big day ahead!

I always love capturing this shot as the bride arrives at the end of the aisle. Rachel looked incredible in her dress from Charlotte at Bridal Reloved in Wakefield!
Rachel’s beautiful bouquet really complemented her skin tones.
Rowan was bursting with excitement when he saw Rachel arrive at the end of the aisle!
Dad was looking very proud (and maybe a little scary) as they said their vows.
Rowan donned his finest shining armor for the big day and Rachel had her custom dress with a rainbow on the back!
They both leaned in for the first kiss moment, but weren’t quite able to touch lips thanks to their very solid hair styles!
The confetti tunnel is always one of my favourite shots to capture!
The confetti came down fast and heavy and even made Rowan take a tumble (crushed red lentils are quite heavy in the Lego world!)
Time for some couple portraits in the stunning Hooton Pagnell Gardens! The light was glorious on this fine April evening.

Before we knew it the time had come to head back into the barn for the first dance!
