The stars aligned as myself and my mates Brad and Eddie realised were all going to have a week that we’re all free in March. March was only a few weeks away. The group message was set and we all started babbling ideas of where we could head. It pretty much came down to 3 options; Pembrokeshire, Cornwall, or the Isle of Skye. We all went off and did our own bit of googling to weigh up our options and soon came to the same conclusion. Scotland is of course known for it’s stunning landscapes, but the Isle of Skye, it’s extra special. Google maps showed that from Wakefield it would take just over 8 hours to get there, and that’s not including breaks. After weighing up the options, the drive seemed to be well worth it.
Time to find the right accommodation! Onto Airbnb we all went and I think it was brad that found this gem of a place! This awesome little cottage was nestled in a little woodland and had views looking across the water to mountains and lighthouse in the distance. Did someone say quaint?!
Enough from me. Check out the photos below to see what we got up to in this incredible part of Scotland!
